Anyone who has worked with Charles Nieves knows that he is a great person to have on the team.  Gulf Coast used Charles during a very difficult time when we were without an IT Director.  He was able to step in and take control.  He has a good understanding of our antiquated equipment (at the time we had multiplexes and RAN’s) or was able to find the right people to assist us.  Charles diligently worked on special projects like writing a very complicated AGS (program) that even CMHC, Inc. didn’t think was possible and he did it.  No job was too small for him either, even if it meant to fix a broken PC or connect modems or install equipment.  His demeanor is always very calm when everything else is chaotic around him.  He is always just a phone call away and has become my friend during his 1.5 years tenure as an Interim IT Director and consultant for Gulf Coast.

During the week of September 27th, 1999 Charles Nieves was contracted by New Horizons to implement the system conversion of our client data from the AS/400 (BTI software) to the RS6000 (CMHC software).

Charles did an exemplary job!  He was dependable, efficient, and very personable.

Following the conversion, he called to see if the conversion was completely successful and to offer any additional assistance we may need. I give him the highest of recommendations for his work.

Charles was also very helpful to New Horizons prior to the data conversion. He assisted our agency with MIS support and welcomed us to the Florida CMHC Regional One group.

As the  Representative for our region, Charles went above and beyond what was expected of him.

His technical assistance and leadership to Florida providers was very much appreciated.

This recognition was given to Charles while he was employed as an RPGIII programmer for a company that was formed through a joint venture between IBM Corporation and Baxter HealthCare  in Longwood, Florida. This Company was later acquired by McKesson Information Solutions.

This recognition was given to Charles while he was employed by AEROTEK and under contract as a COBOL programmer for NCR Corporation in Lake Mary, Florida
